This week we’re taking a look at the energy of the summer solstice. The summer solstice marks the official start of astronomical summer and is the longest day of the year. Derived from the Latin word solstitium which translates to "sun stands still", the summer solstice is midpoint of the growing season, halfway between planting and harvest, and is most closely associated with the fire element.
